खान एवं भू-विज्ञान निदेशालय ने प्रदेश में को सस्ते भाव में बजरी उपलब्ध करवाने की नीति तैयार की है। इस पर सरकार की मुहर लगना बाकी है। अब तक बजरी खनन का ठेका सबसे ज्यादा राशि देने वाले को छिया जाता था, लेकिन नई नीति के तहत सबसे कम कीमत में खनन करने वाले को यह जिम्मेदारी सौंपी जाएगी। इसकी पूरी जिम्मेदारी राजस्थान स्टेट माइंस एंड मिनरल्स लि. (आरएसएमएमएल) को दी जा सकती है।
