Water Resources Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said that Karnataka has been releasing Cauvery river water this kharif season as per the final award of the Cauvery River Water Dispute Tribunal.

Speaking to reporters, he said the KRS reservoir has recorded 26,863 cusecs inflow, while the outflow is 14,994 cusecs. The present water level is 123.25 ft against the total capacity of 124 ft.
