Order passed by the Central Information Commission in the matter of Kanchi Kohli Vs PIO, M/o Environment & Forest dated 13/05/2016 regarding Shailesh Nayak Committee report. Kanchi Kohli, associated with Centre for Policy Research sought on 22.2.2015 from the MoEFCC a copy of the report of Shailesh Nayak Committee, file notings and minutes on the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ). Report was denied and Kanchi Kohli approached this Commission. 

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal (Southern Zone, Chennai) in the matter of Yasoraminfra Developers Pvt. Ltd. Yasoraminfra Developers Pvt. Ltd. & Others Vs Kerala Coastal Zone Management Authority & Others dated 12/05/2016 regarding construction of two flyovers over the Chilavanoor backwaters in Cochin Corporation, State of Kerala.

NGT in its Judgement said that the Project Proponent - Yasoraminfra Developers Pvt. Ltd. has to get the project cleared as per CRZ Notification, 2011.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Octavia Albuquerque & Others Vs Ministry of Agriculture & Others dated 04/05/2016 regarding Mangalore Fisheries Harbour III Stage Expansion. NGT directs that the creek will not be blocked and instead it will be well defined by providing boundaries such as riveting the edges of banks and the basin will be dredged from the existing level of 0 to -1 meter up to -3 meters so that the sailing vessels as well as fishing boats can have a smooth navigation.

Judgement of the Bombay High Court in the matter of Adarsh Co-op. Housing Society Ltd. & Others Vs Union of India Through Ministry of Environment and Forests & Others dated 29/04/2016 regarding Adarsh Housing Society, Mumbai. Petition dismissed. Court directs Union of India, Ministry of Environment and Forests to forthwith demolish Adarsh building constructed by the petitioners at the expenses of the petitioners.
