From the photographs and the clippings displayed on the Television, it had been shown that the entire lake was on fire, emitting highly pollutant gases.

The Tribunal has noted with serious concern that there is complete chaos at the Rohtang Pass and its adjacent glaciers, which, as per the statement made by the experts afore referred to, are reducing by 19 - 20 meters per year. The snow at Solang, Rohtang Pass and Bias Kund is being blackened.

industrial estate located in village Turfikunbi, District Khandwa is a forest land and therefore in terms of the provisions of the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 no non forest activity is permissible in the aforesaid land.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Circuit Bench at Shimla) in the matter of Court on its own Motion Vs. State of HP dated 20/11/2014. It has been reported in the Tribune newspaper dated 20.11.2014 that 200 trees have been cut near the Tara Devi Temple. These are Deodar and Oak trees and were on a private property adjoining Tara Devi Temple in Shimla.
