In the application, the tribunal is monitoring the issue of solid as well as liquid waste management as per orders of the Supreme Court. The tribunal after going through the report filed by Sikkim said that there was several deficiencies in the report and that the factual status was not reflected in the report.

The issue of encroachments, discharge of untreated water, sewage effluents throwing the municipal solid waste resulting in contamination of the water in the Gandhi Sagar lake commonly known as Gandhi Sagar Talab in Bhilwara, Rajasthan has been raised in the application.

Affidavit by the District Magistrate, Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh in compliance with the NGT orders (November 6, 2023, July 3, 2024 and September 23, 2024).

The matter related to encroachment and disappearance of the ponds in Kanpur Dehat district. There were a total of 1975 ponds which have been reduced to 880 only. Thus, 1095 ponds have disappeared on account of encroachment, contamination of water according to the application filed by Meghraj Singh.

The central bench of the NGT, January 13, 2025 directed the Chairman/Ex-officio/District Collector, Jaipur for monitoring the Eco Sensitive Zone of the Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary and compliance of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) notification to ensure that there should not be any constructions in violation of the environmental rules.
