The Haryana government and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Monday signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the 14-km-long, elevated extension of the Badarpur line up to Faridabad.

Extension of Delhi Metro rail services into the satellite town of Faridabad in Haryana was cleared on Monday with the DMRC and the Haryana Government signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for extension of the metro corridor from Badarpur to Faridabad (YMCA).

The MoU was signed by Haryana Government Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary (Town and Country Planning Department) S. S. Dhillon and DMRC Project and Planning director Kumar Keshav. Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, DMRC managing director Mangu Singh were also present.
