The issue under consideration was reviewing the status of compliance of directions of the Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal (NGT) for rejuvenation of river Yamuna.

First status report of Integrated Drain Management Cell (IDMC) in Original Application No. 06/2012 in the matter of Manoj Mishra Vs Union of India & Others.

The National Green Tribunal in its order dated March 5, 2020 had directed the Delhi government to set up an "Integrated Drain Management Cell" under Chief Secretary for remediation and management of all drains of Delhi with representatives of all agencies/ departments/ urban local departments owning such drains not below the level of Chief Engineer dealing with the management of drains to the IDMC.

Given the severity of pollution in the region, a majority of the NCR states have released a list of approved fuels. Yet, most of the industries here have not switched to cleaner fuels.

The matter related to groundwater recharge in Delhi.

Written submission by Young Builders (P) Ltd. before the National Green Tribunal dated 18/01/2021. University of Delhi had filed an appeal before the NGT against the  grant of  Environment Clearance (EC) by the State Environmental Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) to Young Builders for the  construction of a multistorey residential complex at Delhi. The residential group housing project adjoins the Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station on the land leased by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Shailesh Singh Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 15/01/2021.

The matter related to remedial action against unscientific disposal of e-waste resulting in contamination of ground water and soil acidification. Question for consideration inter alia is whether in terms of the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 (EWMR), there is due enforcement of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), authorization regime, collection and dismantling and other steps.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Jaipal Singh Vs Lt. Governor, Delhi & Others dated 15/01/2021. The matter related to conservation and protection of Delhi Ridge which is an extension of Aravalli Range extending from Tughlaqabad and branching out in Wazirabad in the north and also other parts of Delhi.
