Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Bhim Singh Vs M/s. Uni Product (Pvt. Ltd.) & Others dated 11/07/2019. Grievance in the application is that M/s Uni Product (Pvt. Ltd.) and M/s Golden Tex Private Limited are manufacturing carpets in District Rewari, Haryana. In the course of their working, carpet waste comprising of synthetic material was burnt causing air pollution. The said units also extract ground water using submersible motor of 25 HP for commercial purpose without any valid consent and without following any safeguards for recharge of the groundwater.

It has been alleged that there is no proper waste management arrangement and untreated effluent was continuously being discharged causing massive damage to the environment. Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahesh Chandra Saxena Vs Central Pollution Control Board & Others dated 31/05/2019 regarding groundwater recharge by Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Public Works Department (PWD) Delhi, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) through rain water harvesting structures being not scientific and resulting in contamination of groundwater.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vikas Arun Bhor Vs Maharashtra Pollution Control Board & Others dated 22/05/2019 regarding discharge of hazardous chemical waste water in the open spaces around the industry - K2 Metals Private Limited and also storing of hazardous waste in unscientific manner. Due to percolation of this waste and hazardous waste in the ground, the well water of the applicant - Vikas Arun Bhor was getting polluted to such an extent as to result in infertility of soil and non-use of well water.
