Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Girdhari Lal Vs. State & Others dated 26/08/2016 regarding M/s. Devdham Café restaurant being run right on the river bed of Beas. Photographs have been placed on record to show that there are a large number of vehicles parked near the river bed which are buses and cars which have been parked just adjacent to the river bed and the hotel itself appears to be in the flood plain. The hotel is operating without consent of the Pollution Control Board.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Court on its own Motion & Others Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Others dated 19/08/2016 regarding setting up a plant for municipal solid waste and STP in the Beas river bed. NGT in its order noted that the sites are not even one meter away from the river stream. In fact they are almost touching the water of the river.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Tribunal on its own Motion Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Others dated 18/08/2016 regarding felling of trees for the Parwanoo-Solan four-laning project, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. NGT directs the Chief Conservator of Forest, State of Himachal Pradesh to file his personal affidavit in relation to the trees that have already been cut for the project in question, how many trees are proposed to be planted and how many have already been planted.
