Hotel Jaypee Vasant, New Delhi & Ors. dated 30/08/2016 regarding Hotel Jaypee Hotel illegally extracting groundwater and thus causing environmental degradation. The Application was filed by Delhi resident Shailesh Singh stating that Hotel Jaypee is situated in notified ‘over exploited’ area of Delhi wherein ground water can only be drawn for drinking purposes.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Eastern Zone Bench, Kolkata) in the matter of Biranchi Narayan Mahapatra Vs State of Odisha & Others dated 29/08/2016 regarding hotels operating in Puri, Odisha without any consent to operate from the State Pollution Control Board. National Green Tribunal directs the State PCB tol dispose of the applications for consent within a reasonable time "which shall certainly not beyond the period of four months".

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Girdhari Lal Vs. State & Others dated 26/08/2016 regarding M/s. Devdham Café restaurant being run right on the river bed of Beas. Photographs have been placed on record to show that there are a large number of vehicles parked near the river bed which are buses and cars which have been parked just adjacent to the river bed and the hotel itself appears to be in the flood plain. The hotel is operating without consent of the Pollution Control Board.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Girdhari Lal Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Others dated 17/08/2016 regarding M/s. Devdham Cafe running without consent of the State Pollution Control Board. The Counsel appearing for the State submits that the hotel has been issued Notice by the Forest Department for encroachment upon the forest land.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Park Prime Hotel Vs. State of Uttarakhand & Ors. dated 11/08/2016 regarding disposal of waste generated by Park Prime Hotel into river Ganga, Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board submits that the Hotel is now compliant and non-polluting. It has got its own STP and is located at a reasonable distance from river Ganga. In view of this NGT directs the seal of the Hotel to be removed.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rajiv Savara Vs. Darrameks Hotel & Developers Pvt. Ltd. & Ors. dated 05/08/2016 regarding illegal construction for commercial purposes on the river bed of Ganga in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

The Counsel for Darrameks Hotel & Developers Pvt. Ltd. submits that in discharge of corporate and social responsibilities they would clean plastic and other waste from river Ganga which comes within their stretch.
