Action taken report in reference to the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order August 14, 2020 in Original Application No. 162/2020 (Vibhor Mittal Vs M/s Unnati Construction Pvt. Ltd.)

Vibhor Mittal had filed a complaint in UPPCB regarding water pollution by M/s Unnati Construction Pvt. Ltd., Central Park, Ram Sudha Apartment, Swarn Jayanti Nagar, Aligarh. The apartment complex was inspected and samples collected from the outlet of the septic tank and analysed in the lab of UPPCB, Aligarh. The analysed values were not found as per applicable norms.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Hardesh Kirar Vs State of Madhya Pradesh dated 06/10/2020. The matter related to encroachment of government land and nalla and discharge of untreated sewage at village Kauluva, Bhopal.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Harminder Singh & Others Vs Union of India & Others dated 01/10/2020. The matter related to allegation of Omaxe Chandigarh Extension Developers Pvt. Ltd. setting up a residential complex project called ‘The Lake’ obstructing the natural flow of river Sisvan by filling up and closing a part of it in village Bharoujian and diverting it to another place nearby in village Kansala, sub tehsil Majri, district Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Mohali.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mukund Dhote Vs Union of India & Others dated 01/10/2020. The matter related to the housing project 'Vesta Heights', village Baselwa, Sector-86, Faridabad, Haryana violating conditions of Environmental Clearance and the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. Consent to Operate under the Water Act 1974 expired in March 2018. The sewage treatment plant was not adequate and overflow was being discharged into the Agra Canal.

Joint Committee Report (SEIAA Maharashtra, MPC Board, Mumbai) in OA No.33/2020 (WZ) (Mr Tanaji Balasaheb Gambhire V/s Union of India & Ors). l The project developed by JV M/s Bhandari Gelada Associates LLP and M/s Prayeja Developers LLP as M/s Prayeja City - I and Prajeya City-II at village Vadgaon, Sinhgad road, Pune, Maharashtra.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Anil Uppal & Others Vs Union of India & Others dated 11/02/2020 regarding restoration of open areas in terms of Deed of Declaration dated 25.03.2009 for a housing complex. The project was called ‘Ambience Lagoon Apartments’ and developed by Ambience Developers & Infrastructure Private Limited, at NH-8, Gurgaon.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M/s Young Builders Private Ltd. Vs University of Delhi & Others dated 28/01/2020 regarding construction of a group housing complex located at 1 and 3 Cavalry Lane and 4 Chhatra Marg at Civil Lines, adjacent to north campus of Delhi.
