Allaying Fears, Minister Says Enough Stock Of Tamiflu Available In Country

New Delhi: A concerned health ministry reiterated its plea to Indians asking them to desist from travelling to swine-flu affected countries till the pandemic was brought under control.

NEW DELHI: With new cases of swine flu reported from Jalandhar and Hyderabad on Monday, the total number in the country has gone up to 30.

The new cases include a 48-year-old woman, and two girls

Chandigarh: The city hospitals continue to be on high alert after the first case of swine flu in Punjab was reported from Jalandhar on Sunday.

From today, the UT Health department will start surveillance of general flu cases coming to the health centres and dispensaries.

Jalandhar: Doaba farmers today demonstrated at Jaffarpur village, near Shahkot, 40 km from here, to protest against a potato seed company-Technico limited. Farmers accused the company of providing defective seed to them.
