Jorhat, Dec 3: Songita Munda (7), daughter of Shiva Munda, was injured when a rhino attacked her at Bogoriguri in Kaziranga National Park (KNP) this morning while she was playing near her house. The rhino had strayed away from KNP and had entered the residential area near Karbi Hills. The injured girl has been admitted to a private nursing home in Jorhat.

Jaipur/Sariska:The first tiger airlifted to Sariska from Ranthambore National Park in June 2008 was found dead under mysterious circumstances late on Sunday. The male tiger, three-and-a-half years old, was among the five big cats shifted to Sariska in a bid to re-establish their population there.
