Madhya Pradesh is first in the country to prepare a master plan of each village. Working continuously on the decentralised district employment plan, the work of giving it final touches has begun from Sunday. In five districts of the State, the decentralised district plan system has already been implemented. Now, it will be implemented in the remaining districts.

Implementation of the prestigious rural connectivity road scheme of the state government with construction of gravel roads in all 50 districts has begun. In the first phase of the scheme, construction process of 2700 roads has started. Under the scheme, 2676 roads with a length of 6118 km will be constructed. This will link more than 3200 villages which had so far no approach roads.
