Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Tribunal on its own motion Vs State of Himachal Pradesh & Others dated 10/10/2019 regarding pollution of river Ashwani Khud in Himachal Pradesh. The river was found to be full of plastic. There was accumulation of solid waste in the drains joining the river. The Tribunal in its previous order had called for regular removal and cleaning and installation of trap nets on major rivulets and drains connected to Ashwani Khud.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board Vs Tapesh Bhardwaj & Others dated 27/09/2019 regarding dumping of municipal solid wastes on the Yamuna riverbed, Mathura Cantonment, Uttar Pradesh. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) on April 2017 had imposed an environmental compensation of Rs. 5 lakhs on Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) and Rs.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Namita Maniktala Vs State of Himachal Pradesh & Others dated 30/08/2019 regarding dumping of solid waste in river Beas in the State of Himachal Pradesh.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Babubhai Keshabhai Devgirkar & Others Vs Gujarat Pollution Control Board & Others dated 22/08/2019 regarding unscientific disposal of municipal waste by the Deesa Nagarpalika, Banaskantha District, Gujarat. It was alleged that waste is being disposed off for several years in a dump yard located at Survey No. 727/-P/1, in village Juna Deesa which was a grazing land in close proximity of human habitation.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M/s. Hindon River Resorts Pvt. Ltd. & Others Vs Ghaziabad Development Authority & Others dated 14/08/2019 regarding three STPs at Indirapuram, Ghaziabad not working properly resulting in pollution of the area. The plants are being managed by Ghaziabad Development Authority, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam and Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam. The sewage is over flowing due to obstruction and dumping of garbage by scrap dealers on the side lines of the open drains and due to encroachment by high rise complexes and shops.
