LUCKNOW: Two students from Noida admitted to hospitals in New Delhi were quarantined after preliminary medical examinations confirmed that they were suffering from swine flue. Both patients have been shifted to isolation wards dedicated to swine flue patients. Even their families are not being allowed to see them.

: The number of private cars running on CNG (compressed natural gas) in Delhi has risen 43% year-on-year, even as more than 3,700 such automobiles continue to be added to the clean-fuel transport fleet. A survey commissioned by the city's sole CNG supplier, Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL), has found 175,313 private CNG cars against 122,485 in March last year.

At a hurriedly convened press conference late on Saturday night, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Secretary Shashank Shekhar Singh said that there had been no violation of any rule or law in the construction of the park in Sector 15
The Noida Authority has decided to convert a temporary garbage disposal ground in Sector 54 into an eco-rehabilitation park on the lines of the Millennium Indraprastha Park. The 22-acre plot has been used as a dumping ground. The Noida Authority took this decision after continued complaints from residents who complained of stench.
