Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sushil Raghav Vs Union of India & Others dated 21/07/2020. The issue for consideration is the pollution of Radha Kund and Shyam Kund in Village Arita in Mathura District, Uttar Pradesh, by discharge of sewage and domestic waste. The tribunal had sought a response from Mathura Vrindavan Development Authority (MVDA). The MVDA in its response said that the same issue was dealt by the NGT in another case and was listed for hearing on August 11, 2020.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahesh (Bala) T. Vengurlekar Vs State of Maharashtra dated 02/07/2020 regarding illegal felling of 490 Suru trees by the Vengurla Ubhadanda Lineshwar Devasthan (Temple Trust) at Mahsulgaon, Vageshwariwadi, Maharashtra. The NGT had sought a report from Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Forest Force) on the matter but no report was filed.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Odisha Vikash Parishad Vs Union of India & Others dated 22/06/2020.

The SC in its order of June 18, 2020 had restrained holding of the Rath Yatra this year in view of the danger presented by the gathering of 10 to 12 lakhs of devotees for a period of 10-12 days. The apex court observed that any spread of the Coronavirus due to the Rath Yatra would be disastrous due to the large number of persons and the impossibility of tracking all the infected people after they have gone back to their respective homes.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Giriraj Parikrama Sanrakshan Sansthan Vs State of Rajasthan & Others dated 11/12/2019 regarding regulating traffic congestion in and around Giriraj Parvat and Parikrama Marg, Govardhan, District Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.

The Tribunal noted that the work with regard to ring road was not complete and a part of the work still remains. The same was with the case of service road of 10 meters wide around the Parikrama Marg, behind the existing houses and ashrams.
