Grievance in the application is against alleged encroachment of Yamuna floodplain by Yamuna Mission, Mathura. It is stated that though ostensibly acting to preserve and clean river Yamuna and undertaking plantation drive, in the garb of such activities, Yamuna floodplain is being encroached.
