Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Alavikutty Vs State of Kerala & Others dated 17/07/2019 regarding pollution of River Thirur Ponnai, Malappuram District, Kerala. NGT accepts the action plan for mitigation of pollution filed by the Kerala State Pollution Control Board and directs implementation with strict adherence to the time line and cost projected in the report.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Nav Yuva Sanghatan & Others Vs The Secretary, Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpsar Department & Others dated 11/07/2019 regarding damage to environment in the area of Tapi river at Surat in Gujarat caused by illegal construction activities, dumping of waste, dredging, digging, illegal discharge of effluents and absence of demarcation of blue line and red line in the river bed by the Irrigation Department.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Nuggehalli Jayasimha Vs Government of NCT of Delhi dated 08/07/2019 regarding non compliance of environment norms by the dairies operating in Delhi. It is alleged that solid, liquid and gas waste is generated and dumped into the drains which are meeting the river Yamuna and thus, this activity results in contamination of river Yamuna. The waste clogged the drainage system which was becoming breeding ground for mosquitoes and other inspects and thus creating health hazard.
