NEW DELHI, 13 dec: The Supreme Court today favoured a Central probe into the diversion of funds and non-implementation of rural employment scheme, MGNREGA, in Orissa. “We are treating this matter seriously. Working continuously on the decentralised district employment plan, the work of giving it final touches has begun from Sunday. BHUBANESWAR: Rural Development Minister Bikram Keshari Arukh today said in the Assembly that the State Government had decided to set up 1,511 drinking water projects in the State during the next five years.

To a question from Prashant Kumar Muduli (BJD), the Minister said that till now work on 268 projects had been completed and the remaining projects would be completed in next phases.
