6th periodical report of Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) regarding Patancheru pollution dated 24/11/2020. The TSPCB stated that as per the directions of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), all the 17 categories of highly polluting industries were directed to install Online Pollution Monitoring Systems for their ETPs and the data to be connected to TSPCB and CPCB servers.

All the effluent carrying tankers were enforced to have GPS tracking devices and are connected to SPCBs GPS tracking system to avoid illegal dumping.

Action taken report in reference to the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order August 14, 2020 in Original Application No. 162/2020 (Vibhor Mittal Vs M/s Unnati Construction Pvt. Ltd.)

Vibhor Mittal had filed a complaint in UPPCB regarding water pollution by M/s Unnati Construction Pvt. Ltd., Central Park, Ram Sudha Apartment, Swarn Jayanti Nagar, Aligarh. The apartment complex was inspected and samples collected from the outlet of the septic tank and analysed in the lab of UPPCB, Aligarh. The analysed values were not found as per applicable norms.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Abhisht Kusum Gupta Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 06/11/2020. The issue for consideration is the remedial action for preventing untreated sewage going to the “irrigation canal” in Sector 137, NOIDA ((New Okhla Industrial Development Authority), Uttar Pradesh.

Compliance report by the Joint Committee of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) of the order passed by the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Original Application No. 616/2019 (Ramdevbhai Samatbhai Sanjva Vs State of Gujarat & Others) related to pollution in river Bhadar due to discharges from textile units in Jetpur, Gujarat.

Compliance report submitted to the National Green Tribunal (NGT) in response to the NGT order September 1, 2020 in the matter of Original Application No. 105/2019 (Ajitsinh Bharubha Vaghela Vs State of Gujarat). The matter related to untreated industrial effluents being discharged in Kharicut canal, which is meeting Khari river in Gujarat affecting irrigation facilities of the inhabitants. The Kharicut canal is the only source of water for irrigation and for consumption by animals like cattles and sheep.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahesh Chandra Saxena Vs Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Others dated 02/11/2020.

This application seeks injunction against construction of drains in place of sewer lines at Chhatarpur Enclave, New Delhi. It is stated that there are 1700 unauthorised colonies in Delhi wherein the drains, septic tanks and soak pits are constructed. This is a source of pollution of ground water.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Dr. Kiran Ramdas Kamble & Others Vs State of Maharashtra dated 28/10/2020. The issue for consideration is remedial action against discharge of untreated sewage into the river Trimbakeshwar, district Nasik.
