KOLKATA: Heads of 59 municipalities attended a meeting on Tuesday when they were briefed about the central guidelines for a smart city before they join the competition to be enlisted in the scheme.
With Prime Minister Narendra Modi launching the smart city project in New Delhi recently, the Municipal Corporation of Jalandhar (MCJ) has geared up to get the city included in the project.
