Grievance in the application is against alleged encroachment of Yamuna floodplain by Yamuna Mission, Mathura. It is stated that though ostensibly acting to preserve and clean river Yamuna and undertaking plantation drive, in the garb of such activities, Yamuna floodplain is being encroached. The applicant has filed photographs showing construction on the ghats and copies of complaints made to the authorities.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M/s. Qurx Pharmaceuticals Vs Himachal Pradesh Pollution Control Board & Others dated 18/11/2021.

The appeal has been filed in the NGT by against Qurx Pharmaceutical against order of closure, April 23, 2021 followed by order, May 26, 2021 passed by the Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board, requiring the unit to deposit compensation in the sum of Rs. 14,50,000/- on ‘Polluter Pays’ principle.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of P. G. Sethuram Vs State of Tamil Nadu dated 11/11/2021. Grievance in the application is against illegal operation of a stone crusher – Erode mines at survey No. 733/2, 734/2, Senapathipalayam village, Kangayam taluk, Tirupur district, Tamiil Nadu, on agricultural land, in violation of environmental norms. According to the applicant, the said unit is functioning close of the residential houses, check dam, temples and causing damage to the environment.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Hakam Singh & Others Vs State of Rajasthan & Others dated 10/11/2021.

Question for consideration is compliance of environmental norms by the brick kilns in Sri Ganganagar district in Rajasthan. The NGT noted that despite the court's last order, February 11, 2021 - illegally operating brick kilns have not been closed nor made accountable for past violations.
