Affidavit filed by the West Bengal Pollution Control Board in the National Green Tribunal (NGT) regarding compensation to be paid by the Damodar Valley Corporation, district Purulia, West Bengal for violating environmental norms by the discharge of wastewater from the industry resulting in damages to agricultural land.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Som Distilleries Pvt Ltd. & Others Vs State of Madhya Pradesh & Others dated 11/01/2022.

The Supreme Court directed Som Distilleries to file an appeal under Section 28 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 against the MPPCB order, August 14, 2021. The appeal would be considered and decided on or before February 15, 2022.

Objections to the report of the Joint Committee (November 20, 2021) and Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board report (November 17, 2021) on behalf of Krishna Oil and Fats Private Limited. The matter related to discharge of effluents by edible oil refineries set up in Krishnapatnam region wherein South India Krishna Oil and Fats Pvt. Ltd. is also one of the respondents.
