Bokaro, Feb. 26: Fresh life has been breathed into the dormant Tenughat Dam development project.

The Bokaro district administration has prepared a new blueprint for developing the dam into a tourist spot. It was submitted to the tourism department in Ranchi last week.

LUCKNOW: After inviting private concerns to set up coal fired thermal power plants, the UP Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) is toying with the idea of setting up a solar thermal power plant in the state. The 10 MW plant, to be set up by a private company, is likely to come up in Unnao district.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has urged the Ministry of Railways to improve their operational arrangements so that required quantity of coal may be supplied to Sanjay Gandhi Thermal Power Station, Birsinghpur and Satpura Thermal Power Stations smoothly.
