Allegations in the application are that the LPGC is using fresh water in excess of permitted limit, not monitoring ambient air quality, not carrying out waste water treatment and is violating green belt plantation requirement around the plant.

Ltd., Naini, Allahabad, (Pragyaj), Uttar Pradesh. Grievance in this application is that the plant in question is very close to residential area, river bed, railway track and highway. In spite of unsuitable location, UPPCB has granted authorization under the provisions of Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 in violation of guidelines issued by the CPCB in the year 2003.

The issues raised included disposal of solid and hazardous waste, removal of encroachments from the Reserved Forest area, noise pollution and forest land diversion.
