By filing this application the Applicant M/s. Manan Enterprises is seeking registration of two number of BS-IV Diesel vehicles to be deployed on behalf of Delhi Jal Board for maintenance of sewer system. The Applicant has contended that in two earlier matters similar prayers had been granted.

Counsel appearing for Madan Mohan submits that the preparations for the event have been made and nearly 10 vehicles from abroad and other vehicles from various parts of the country have already arrived. He further states that the event is going to be held only for 3 hours when the vehicles will run from Red Fort to Greater Noida.

The Counsel appearing for the Applicant submits that she will file comprehensive and definite plan and suggestions as to how traffic in Chandni Chowk can be permitted to carry on without interfering commercial activity while ensuring that there is no pollution caused because of that activity.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vardhaman Kaushik Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 04/12/2014 regarding growing air pollution of Delhi.

A team of CPCB, DPCC, a Scientist from MoEF, a Scientist from State Boards of State of Rajasthan, State of Haryana and State of Uttar Pradesh to take ambient air quality samples from the entire NCR Delhi at different intervals and times. The samples would be taken during the peak hours as well as non-peak hours. The sample shall definitely be collected in the early morning hours and late evening hours.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vardhaman Kaushik Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 28/11/2014 regarding growing air pollution in Delhi. The Tribunal noted that despite orders of the highest court of the land there is hardly any improvement in the ambient air quality of NCT of Delhi. In fact it has
already been noticed in our previous order that it has gone from bad to worse .

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has passed the order that all the petrol and diesel vehicles older than 15 years would not be permitted to ply on the national capital's road.
