Dr. Devesh Nigam, Registrar, University of Hyderabad in his complaint to the NGT said that untreated sewage and medical waste was being discharged into Central University campus by Sports Complex of Telangana and Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) and also from adjacent colonies.

Grievance in the application is for remedial action against damage to the environment in Mumbai city near coastal road at Wadala to Mahul, close to Chembur to CST freeway by adding debris on the salt pan, making island out of it and encroaching the same, affecting the mangroves which are important for Mumbai city.
