Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vimal Bhai Vs Tehri Hydro Development Corporation & Others dated 13/04/2017 regarding dumping of construction debris into River Alaknanda. It is the case of the applicant that this indiscriminate dumping of construction material and debris into River Alaknanda is polluting it and the Project Proponent of the Vishugud-Pipalkoti Hydroelectric Power project is responsible for this pollution of the River.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Tapesh Bhardwaj Vs UP State Pollution Control Board & Others dated 13/04/2017 regarding dumping of garbage on the river bed of River Yamuna by Mathura Cantonment Board. The oxygen level in the River Yamuna in Mathura is close to zero and the landfill site created by the Cantonment Board is a huge contributor to this. The Board is causing destruction of the river bed and the flood plain of River Yamuna.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sanjay Kumar Vs. State of U.P. & Ors dated 11/04/2017 regarding hotmixer plants in Noida and Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Applicants have requested that the hotmixer plants run by them which are presently lying closed, may be inspected by the concerned Authority. NGT directs that joint inspection be conducted by Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board, Central Pollution Control Board and representative of MoEF.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of National Green Tribunal Bar Association Vs. Dr. Sarvabhoum Bagali (State of Karnataka) dated 11/04/2017 regarding illegal mining at Kurghot and Shirdon, Sholapur, Maharashtra.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Suleman Rana Vs. Municipal Council of Manglaur & Others dated 11/04/2017 regarding closure of slaughter house, Manglaur, Haridwar district, Uttarakhand. Counsel appearing for Municipal Council of Manglaur submits that the slaughter house being run by the Council has already been shut. The Competent Authority has also granted approval for construction of new slaughter house outside the township.
