NGT directs Chief Conservator of Forest, State of Punjab, representative of the Regional Office of the MoEF, Chandigarh and representative of State of Punjab to conduct a personal inspection and prepare a video, clearly showing land in question where afforestation has been done.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M.C. Mehta Vs. Union of India & Others dated 30/03/2017 regarding cleaning and rejuvenation of river Ganga. After the meeting (11/04/2017) day-to-day hearing of the case would start from 17th April, 2017 till concluded.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sanjay Kumar Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 23/03/2017 regarding hot mix plants operating illegally in Delhi NCR causing air pollution.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sumitra Devi Vs. CPCB & Others dated 17/03/2017 regarding pollution at the industrial complex at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Central Pollution Control Board submits that the 10 industries which were referred in their Report and the Order of the Tribunal are not only electroplating industries but they also include pharmaceutical and other industries and they are polluting industries and that is why they are required to be shut down.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Legal Aid Committee, National Green Tribunal Bar Association Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 16/03/2017 regarding Notification in relation to Eco-Sensitive Zone in the State of Uttarakhand. The Applicants contend that the State Government and the Ministries are intentionally delaying the Notification and the draft prepared by the State Government is fundamentally unacceptable because it goes totally contra to the law in force.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Bihar Cement Plant Vs. Bihar State Pollution Control Board & Ors. dated 15/03/2017 regarding pollution caused by Bihar Cement Plant. A Joint Inspection Report filed by the Committee recommended that the unit could be permitted to operate, as required anti-pollution devices have been installed and measures have been taken.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Manoj Mishra Vs. Union of India & Others dated 14/03/2017 regarding cleaning of river Yamuna. In relation to the 14 STPs it is stated that 7 STPs were approved by the Secretary of Ministry of Water Resources and they would be financed by the Namami Gange (NMCG), however, it is clarified that no fresh financial proposal need to be submitted as the work is being executed under the tenders invited already.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Cauvery Sene (Regd.), Medikeri Vs. State of Karnataka regarding felling of trees in Karnataka. NGT in the Order directs that all persons felling, cutting trees in the forest area or even on the private land are prohibited from cutting the trees unless and until they plant before cutting, 10 trees for each tree cut or felled from and/or proposed to be felled or cut.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Amresh Singh Vs. Union of India & Others dated 14/03/2017 regarding dumping of debris from the construction of the road from Udhampur to Banihal in rivers Ravi and Chenab, Jammu & Kashmir. NGT directs NHAI and the State of Jammu & Kashmir to ensure that all the subcontractors are served notice and they appear before the Tribunal on the next date of hearing (26/04/2017).
