Move to digitise green clearance process for projects likely to bring transparency

In what could well be UPA’s parting gift for investors harangued by India’s suspense-laden environmental clearances blamed for denting the investment climate in recent years, the government is in the process of digitising all green clearances so that investors can go online to apply and track the status of their clearances.
