Ajay Tyagi, Chairperson, CPCB & Others dated 24/11/2014 regarding pollution from the Railway locomotive engines. The Tribunal in its order disposed of this Application with a direction to Respondent No. 3, Secretary or his nominee not below the rank of Additional Secretary to hold a meeting within four weeks from today. The meeting shall be held with the Member Secretary of CPCB, the concerned Prof. from IIT Delhi and a representative of the Ministry of Petroleum.

Order of National Green Tribunal in the matter of Satish Kumar Vs. Union of India & Ors. And Mahavir Singh Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 24/11/2014 regarding polluting units of Delhi. The Tribunal has directed the DPCC, NCT of Delhi, North Municipal Corporation of Delhi to issue Notice to 177 Units which are defaulting and polluting units. NGT also said that "notice should state as to why they be not directed to be close permanently and pay compensation for restoration of the degraded environment resulting from their activities."

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Environics Trust V/s Union of India & Ors. dated 21/11/2014 regarding asbestos mining operations in India. In the application the Applicant has prayed that the Tribunal should direct the appropriate authorities to immediately stop all asbestos mining operations in the country and ensure their scientific closure.
