Venkatpuram village, Pendurthy Mandal, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh resulting in deaths and hospitalization of people. There is also damage to environment and habitat.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Dr. Nihal Thomas, Associate Director, Christian Medical College Vellore Vs State of Andhra Pradesh dated 27/01/2020 regarding air and noise pollution in the process of stone quarrying, close to the CMC Chittoor Campus, affecting the health of the patients in the hospital, apart from damaging the environment.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Dr. Pentapati Pulla Rao Vs Union of India & Others dated 27/09/2019 regarding remedial action for protection of environment during the course of construction of the Indira Sagar Polavaram Multipurpose Project in Andhra Pradesh. Present proceedings were initiated on the allegation that illegal dumping of muck was taking place during construction and no remedial action was being taken. A report submitted by a four member joint Committee stressed on remedial action for maintaining environmental norms.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vatti Vasanth Kumar Vs Union of India & Others dated 06/09/2019. An application was filed before the NGT alleging that Pattisema Lift Irrigation Scheme and Purushothampatnam Lift Irrigation Scheme was completed without getting Environmental Clearance (EC).

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of AVVS. Subrahmanayam Vs Godavari Mega Aqua Food Park & Others dated 28/08/2019 regarding pollution by Godavari Mega Aqua Food Park in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. NGT had asked the State Pollution Control Board, State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Andhra Pradesh, State of Andhra Pradesh and National Coastal Zone Management Authority (NCZMA) to file an affidavit on the matter but SPCB alone had filed the affidavit. 

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vatti Vasanth Kumar & Others Vs Union of India & Others dated 13/08/2019 regarding Godavari-Krishana-Penna rivers linking project. 

The Godavari-Krishana-Penna river linking project does not have be requisite clearance from the Central Water Commission (CWC) and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC). This application was taken up before the National Green Tribunal (NGT) on August 13, 2019.
