University of Delhi had filed an appeal before the NGT against the  grant of  Environment Clearance (EC) by the State Environmental Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) to Young Builders for the  construction of a multistorey residential complex at Delhi. The residential group housing project adjoins the Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station on the land leased by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

The matter related to shortage of manpower and equipment faced by the Department of Forests and Wildlife, Government of NCT of Delhi. This was causing hindrance in performance of their responsibilities as mandated by various statutes for protection of the environment, urban trees, forests and wildlife.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Gafuruddin Ahmed Vs East Delhi Municipal Corporation & Others dated 09/12/2020. Grievance in the Application was against installation of a mobile tower at Abul Fazal Apartments, Vasundhara Enclave, Delhi. The NGT directed the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) and the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) to look into the grievance as per applicable guidelines laid down by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) on the subject.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of R. P. Singhal Vs Govt. of Delhi NCT & Others dated 03/12/2020.

Grievance in this application is that Sanjay Lake and Sanjay Lake Park near Mayur Vihar, Delhi are being polluted for which the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and Delhi Tourism and Transport Development Corporation (DTTDC) have to take necessary steps. Concretization around the trees is taking place in violation of orders of this Tribunal. The applicant has made a representation for the purpose but the same has not been acted upon.
