Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Chander Nagar Resident Welfare Asso. & Others Vs Union of India & Others. Grievance in this application was against cutting of trees in a park/green belt for construction of a nursery school opposite A-41 to 44, Chander Nagar, in front of A-1/271 to 276, Janakpuri, New Delhi. It was stated that the site of school was part of green belt which had been illegally transferred by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to Guru Vivekanand Shiksha Sansthan, for a school.

The Judgement of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 14/08/2020.

The case related to the authority of the "Monitoring Committee to seal the residential premises on the private land” particularly when they are not being used for the “commercial purpose” in Delhi. Report No.149 dated April 2, 2019 submitted by the Monitoring Committee concerned specific unauthorized constructions allegedly carried out in the Vasant Kunj and Rajokari area. These constructions were not on public land. The respective persons owned the land.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Hardeep Singh & Others Vs SDMC & Others dated 11/08/2020. The subject matter for consideration is the failure of the statutory authorities in Delhi in controlling noise pollution as per statutory mandate of Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000 (Noise Rules).

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 10/08/2020. The matter related to steps to control air pollution taken by the government of NCT of Delhi.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Pramod Kumar Jha Vs Govt. of NCT of Delhi dated 07/08/2020. A report was sought from the Delhi Jal Board and Delhi Pollution Control Committee with reference to the allegation of illegal extraction of ground water in village Jagatpur, Civil Lines Delhi near Yamuna biodiversity park for sale through tankers and further grievance was that charcoal drums were being burnt in open causing air pollution.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of R. P. Singhal Vs Govt. of Delhi NCT & Others dated 07/08/2020. Grievance in this application was that Sanjay Lake and Sanjay Lake Park near Mayur Vihar, Delhi were being polluted for which the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and Delhi Tourism and Transport Development Corporation (DTTDC) had to take necessary steps. Concretization around the trees was taking place in violation of orders of the court.

The Supreme Court on July 29, 2020 expressed shock at IIT Bombay''s backing out of the smog tower project at Anand Vihar in East Delhi and said this was "not expected of such institutions". The apex court said it was "not at all happy with the state of affairs" of the project for installing the smog tower -- structure designed as large-scale air purifier to reduce pollution -- and non-compliance with its order would be "taken seriously”.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Satish Kumar Vs Govt. of NCT of Delhi dated 24/07/2020. The issue for consideration is the allegation that there is encroachment of government land at Khasra No. 216-217-964/2018, revenue estate of village Haiderpur, Delhi.
