Minister for Panchayats and Rural Development and Social Justice Gopal Bhargava said that Rs 625 crore has been allocated to 26 districts of the State for providing employment. He said that so far, savings accounts of over 66 lakh job card holders have been opened in banks and post offices.

The State Government have allotted a sum of Rs one crore 56 lakh for hail-storm affected persons of Seoni, Dindori, Balaghat, Umariya and Chhindwada districts. Concerning Collectors have been asked to utilise the allotted fund under the norms of RBC 6-4.

Middle men are enjoying the farmers' hard labour. According to a report, sharbati wheat was sold Rs 2200-2500 a quintal in Ratlam but did the farmers reap the profits of this sale.
