Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 15/06/2020 regarding steps to control vehicular pollution. A bunch of cases on similar matters were clubbed together and heard by Justices Arun Mishra and S. Abdul Nazeer. The cases ranged from registration of diesel vehicles/machines/equipments of North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC), East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) for public purpose to registration of BS-IV vehicles.

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Southern Zone, Chennai) in the matter of Lawyers’ Environmental Awareness Forum (LEAF) Vs Government of Kerala & Others dated 06/01/2020 regarding air pollution especially vehicular pollution in Kerala. There was no policy formulation on the issue of curbing the use of diesel vehicles which are more than ten years old in the state, the application stated.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Society for Protection of Culture, Heritage, Environment, Traditions and Promotion of National Awareness Vs Union of India & Others dated 18/09/2019. The Execution Application seeks enforcement of NGT order dated November 24, 2017. According to the applicants who were residents of Vasant Kunj, New Delhi in absence of adequate mitigation measures, there was unchecked noise pollution on the runway at Indira Gandhi International Airport affecting the inhabitants.

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 26/08/2019 regarding the removal of cap on the number of three wheeler permits issued in Delhi.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Manoj Mishra Vs Union of India & Others dated 23/08/2019 regarding Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) approval for setting up of demonstration unit of 4 TPD HCNG at DTC Rajghat Depot 1. The matter was adjourned to enable Manoj Mishra to approach the Monitoring Committee.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Shri L. G. Sahadevan, Chennai Vs Union of India & Others dated 19/08/2019 regarding use of alternative fuel in the state of Tamil Nadu. Action plan submitted through the Joint Transport Commissioner (Road and Safety), Tamil Nadu states that "under the present condition the pollution level is under control when compared to other States and enough LPG is available throughout the State and CNG is not available and a Committee has been constituted to study about the same and they are making the study."

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 02/08/2019 regarding registration of new taxis in Delhi, only if the vehicles operate on dual fuel or petrol or CNG. The Apex Court makes it clear, that it's order of 10/05/2016 that new taxis in NCR would be given permit only if the vehicle operate on duel fuel or petrol or CNG. Further, no vehicle shall be registered as a city taxi if it runs on diesel fuel.
