Matanhy lambasts sardinhas statement on SEZ and CRZ

The United Goans Democratic Party on Friday lashed out at the South Goa Congress candidate, Francisco Sardinha for his promise to reintroduce the Bill in Parliament to legalise bull fights in the state.
The regional party also attacked the Congress candidate for his statement that issues such as SEZ and CRZ falls within the purview of the state government.

Court sees red over green neglect

MUMBAI: The Bombay high court on Wednesday came to the rescue of mangroves in the city. A division bench of Justice J N Patel and Justice Vijaya Kapse-Tahilramani passed a series of orders to protect mangrove plots in Charkop and Andheri.
