INDIA has strengthened its ties with the fifth-largest oil-producing country, Colombia, by signing an agreement that would facilitate public sector ONGC and Oil India (OIL) to acquire oil and gas assets in that country. Colombia has also invited Indian companies, including Gail (India) and Reliance Industries (RIL), to invest in its refining sector.
