Counter affidavit on behalf of Bihar State Pollution Control Board in the matter of news item titled "Ganga water unsafe even for bathing says Bihar government on river pollution" appearing in Hindustan Times, February 26, 2024. As per the news item, almost all major rivers passing through Bihar are unsafe even for bathing and the information is on the basis of the annual survey report on health of rivers tabled by the Bihar State Pollution Control Board (BSPCB).

Report of the committee as per order of the National Green Tribunal, February 10, 2025 in the matter of Hari Dewangan Vs State of Chhattisgarh & Others. The matter is related to pollution of the Hasdeo river.

The issue raised in the application pertains to Eco Waste Management (EWM) not operating its facility and conducting its operations without waste treatment, which has resulted in accumulation of approximately 800-1000 track loads of hazardous waste at the plot 201 to 204, GIDC Palej, village Palej, district Bharuch, Gujarat, which was granted CC&A by GPCB, which is valid till December 31, 2027.
