Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others regarding ban on registration of diesel vehicles with engine capacity of 2000cc and above, 30/03/2016.

Interim order dated 16th December, 2015 passed by the Supreme Court restraining registration of diesel cars with a capacity of 2000 cc and above, shall continue. Court also extends time granted for conversion of all taxis including those operating under aggregators like OLA and UBER from diesel to CNG to 30th April, 2016.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M/s Ashok Vihar Mitra Mandel Vs. The Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Others dated 28/03/2016 regarding dumping of hazardous wastes containing heavy metals in the green belt, Delhi. The Counsel appearing for Delhi Pollution Control Committee submits that samples have been collected from the place which is allegedly used for dumping of hazardous wastes and analysis of samples will bring out the merit of the present case.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vikrant Kumar Tongad Vs. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. dated 23/03/2016 regarding rain water harvesting systems in hotels, hospitals and malls.
