Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Tribunal on its own motion Vs State of Himachal Pradesh & Others dated 10/10/2019 regarding pollution of river Ashwani Khud in Himachal Pradesh. The river was found to be full of plastic. There was accumulation of solid waste in the drains joining the river. The Tribunal in its previous order had called for regular removal and cleaning and installation of trap nets on major rivulets and drains connected to Ashwani Khud.

Ltd, Himachal Pradesh.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of General Public at Sheikhupur Panchayat, Bain Attrain Village Vs State of Himachal Pradesh dated 31/07/2019 regarding M/s ID Sood Ispat factory being illegally operated at Kandrori, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh and polluting the ground water with fine iron particles. The fine iron particles are spread in the atmosphere causing air pollution in the area.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rakesh Kumar Vs State of Himachal Pradesh dated 25/07/2019 regarding illegal construction on the Mall Road, Shimla at Bridge View Hotel between the nallah flowing between the hotel and Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, Shimla. The report by the Director, Town and Country Planning Department stated that illegal construction could not be demolished as the matter was pending before the Additional District Judge, Shimla.

Indiscriminate dumping of solid waste material in Pushpabadhra River, which traverses through the town of Jibhi in the State of Himachal Pradesh came up for consideration before the NGT on July 23, 2019.
