Indore: Minister of State for Narmada Valley Development KL Agrawal today instpected the forests of proposed Onkareshwar National Park. He said that the proposed National Park to come up in Narmada Valley would be unique due to its special position of water on one side.

A team of experts from the National Malaria Research Institute (NMRI) is conducting extensive research in Narmada Basin for making preventive strategy to safe guard the health of people affected from various dam reservoirs. NEW DELHI: The Union Environment Ministry has issued a show-cause notice to the company building the Maheshwar dam in the Narmada Valley after hundreds of affected people marched to the Ministry here demanding rehabilitation.
