Three cleaners who went into a manhole in a banquet hall at Adarsh Nagar area died from toxic gases on Tuesday afternoon.

The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has admitted that the sewage of Chandigarh and Mohali was being discharged into the seasonal N-choe, which originates from Chandigarh and passes through various parts of the city before reaching Mohali.

Guntur, April 30: The AP Pollution Control Board has issued a notice to the municipal corporation to construct lining to the dumping yards in Guntur city and build sewage treatment plant to protect ground water.
