The land of the area, ground water, forest and wildlife are also affected.

The issue for consideration was the remedial action against illegal operation of brick kilns in district Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh where 600 brick kilns were illegally operating. Grievance in this application was that M/s Siflon Drugs was emitting foul odour and causing air pollution at Bellary Road, Rachanapalli, district Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The polluting activity needed to be regulated in the interest of environment and public health.
