Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Bidu Bhusan Harichandan & Others Vs District Collector Khurdha & Others dated 01/10/2020. The case relates to illegal mining of laterite stone by rat hole mining method without following the standard operating procedures (SOP) for mining and other environmental laws. It was stated that there are at least 40 different sites at Khordha district of Odisha, where such mining is going on that covers 500 acres bringing within it several villages namely Tapanga, Anda and Jhinkijhari under Nijigarh Tapang panchayat.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mukund Dhote Vs Union of India & Others dated 01/10/2020. The matter related to the housing project 'Vesta Heights', village Baselwa, Sector-86, Faridabad, Haryana violating conditions of Environmental Clearance and the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. Consent to Operate under the Water Act 1974 expired in March 2018. The sewage treatment plant was not adequate and overflow was being discharged into the Agra Canal.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Satyanarayan Sahni Vs State of Bihar dated 28/09/2020. A report was sought from District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur and Bihar State Pollution Control Board (BSPCB) on the allegation of pollution being caused by fly ash dump set up by thermal power plant at village Kanti Nagar, district Muzaffarpur, Bihar causing damage to the public health, animal health and ecology in the area.

Compliance report by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) dated 28/09/2020 regarding illegal e-waste units being run in Loni, Ghaziabad.

The report informed the Tribunal that oficers of Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) and tehsil Loni had inspected the area on which the illegal industries were run against prescribed land use in Master Plan of GDA. During the survey, 80 illegal units were identified and action taken against them under the relevant sections of Uttar Pradesh Town Planning and Development Act 1973.
