Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Jagdish Chandra Pandey Vs State of Uttarakhand & Others dated 11/09/2020. Grievance in this application was against violation of environmental norms during construction of Kotila-Gawad-Suraikhet Motor Road in tehsil Dwarahat, district Almora, Uttarakhand. It is alleged that large number of trees are being damaged during the construction of the road and in spite of complaints lodged with the authorities, no remedial action has been taken.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Pramod Kumar Agarwal Vs Uttarakhand Environment Protection and Pollution Control Board dated 24/08/2020.

Two applications were filed before the NGT (one of it by Sushila Touring Hotel) challenging the orders of the Uttarakhand Environment Protection and Pollution Control Board. The SPCB had asked the hotels that arrangements must be made for sewage treatment. Also consent to operate should be taken in terms of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Roshan Joshi Vs State of Uttarakhand & Others dated 17/08/2020. Grievance in this application was against setting up of a petrol pump in Dehradun in violation of siting guidelines - so as to maintain safe distance from residential area in view of health and safety concerns. It was submitted that ignoring the said guidelines, the District Magistrate had issued the no objection certificate.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Green India Heritage Vs State of Uttarakhand dated 05/08/2020. A report was sought from the District Magistrate, Kashipur with reference to the allegation of illegal construction, adversely affecting Girital Lake in Kashipur City, Uttarakhand.
