A GEF-STAP (Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel) Advisory Document entitled 'Advancing Sustainable Low-Carbon Transport Through the GEF' has been published. The Bridging the Gap partner TRL co-authored this Advisory Document that reviews past and planned GEF support to the transport sector as well as providing strategic advice on the options for GEF to promote energy efficient, low-carbon passenger and freight transport systems. It recognises that the transport sector has unique requirements and that GEF transport operations need to evolve if they are to have the optimal impact upon emissions from the sector.
