The residential group housing project adjoins the Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station on the land leased by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

The matter related to a building project in an area having an extent of 10.87 acres in Vedapatti village, Coimbatore south taluk, Coimbatore district under the name Golden City. The proposal was to construct 1356 flats of various sizes. It is alleged that the construction of the project started even before the grant of Environment Clearance.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Subash Mohapatra Vs State of Odisha & Others dated 13/01/2021.

Grievance in this application is against construction of a complex having more than 4,00,000 sq. m. built up area at Bhubaneswar in Odisha by M/s Sum Hospital without the requisite statutory Environmental Clearance (EC). According to the applicant, the complex in question involves a large covered area for which construction cannot proceed without the requisite EC in terms of EIA Notification of September 14, 2006.

The issue for consideration was the remedial action against pollution of river Balad in Baddi industrial area in district Solan, on account of leakage from the Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP).

Brief written submissions filed by U. Kalimuthan and others. A coal based thermal power plant by the name Uppoor Power Plant in Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu. A land of 1342.11 acres of land was acquired in and around 3 villages namely Uppoor, Valamavur and Thirupalaikudi in Thiruvadanai taluk, Ramanathapuram district. The Terms of Reference dated May 28, 2012 expired on May 27, 2015 and thereafter environmental clearance was granted dated May 18, 2016.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Dastak Vs Synochem Organics Pvt. Ltd. & Others dated 09/12/2020. This application seeks quashing of the order of state of Haryana dated November 10, 2020 allowing manufacturers of formaldehyde, requiring prior Environmental Clearance, to operate for six months without EC, subject to making application for EC within 60 days. The applicant submits that requirement of prior EC is mandatory. There is no jurisdiction with the state to exempt the same.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ravi Kumar Vs Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change & Others dated 09/12/2020 regarding grant of Environmental Clearance (EC) in respect of sand/morrum/mining project for Yamuna river at Khand No. 1, 2,3 and 4, village Bendakhand, tehsil and district Banda, Uttar Pradesh. According to the appellant, four individual leases form a cluster and need to be evaluated as such instead of being evaluated separately in violation of Sustainable Sand Mining Guidelines and judgment of the Supreme Court.
