At least nineteen people have died of tuberculosis disease in Tanahun district in the past one year.

Three persons have died and over two dozen taken ill due to a mysterious disease, undiagnosed so far, in Saptari over the past few days.

Public Health Officer of Saptari Chandra Dev Mahato said, Ramnarayan Mandal, Dibesh Kumar Yadav and Rujal Mukhiya of Jagatpur VDC in the district have died of the disease.
